    Hi,
i am trying to achieve a search filter for a blog entry grid.
What i have achieved so far:
Click on a filter button (e.g. category A), then jQuery fades out all Elements which are not category A.
So my result is correct: i only see blog articles with category A.

The Problem is now the grid layout:
I want that all other remaining articles are displayed in a grid without gap! Every element I filter out, leaves a gap in the layout. It only works in one seperate horizontal line, e.g. line 1 but not from line 2 to line 1 for example.

How can i make my blog articles shift correctly without any gaps in the grid??

    Thanks for your support

    Hey!

unfortunately it would require a huge amount of time and customization of the theme and that is why you would need to hire a freelance developer for this job.

    Cheers!

Ok…i am freelance developer ;)…would u have any hint to solve it or options for a workaround?…what parts needed to be enhanced or developed? Or could a mansonry grid be enhanced with some text excerpt and title more easily? Please for some advice..thanks :)

    Hi!

If you want to do it yourself then you would need to study up on the Masonry script, http://masonry.desandro.com/, but as said before this kind of customization is complex and is going to take quite a bit of time to implement so it would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out.

    Cheers!
