Hello world best theme developers,
I have a client whose website runs with enfold. We have trouble installing another company´s plugin. The other company says that the template uses the jQuery-function live(). This function is deprecated since jQuery-version 1.7. It should use on() or bind(). They ask for an update? I can´t find a solution for the problem. Can you please help me out?
Thank you so much.

Is this causing an actual issue on the backend/frontend of the site?

JosueJuly 20, 2016 at 9:23 pm #663117Hi Josue,
if I activate the plugin, the backend shows horrible font sizes (see pics) and I can´t adjust any widget. After activation of the plugin and deactivation, the icons are not showing in the frontend anymore. :( The developer says, it has to do with the jquery-problem?
It would be great if you can help!
Thanks so much. ClaudiaJuly 22, 2016 at 10:52 am #663761Hi,
Can you please create us a WordPress administrator account? post it here as a private reply.

July 25, 2016 at 8:22 pm #664808Hi,
Widgets should work now (fonts are still odd but that’s because of a plugin CSS), i disabled the jQuery the plugin includes.

JosueJuly 28, 2016 at 10:47 pm #666429Hi Josue,
thank you so much for helping out! That worked great. The plugin CSS is fixed as well…But I do still have one remaining problem: The icons in the frontend are not showing. Could you please check that one, too? That would be great. I have already deleted and reinstalled enfold twice, but it didn´t work. :( Sorry for not creating another topic, but I think it is related to the js-problem…
Best regards, Claudia
July 29, 2016 at 2:35 pm #666598Hello Josue, I appear to be having JQuery problems on my site with another plugin. The plugin builder asked me to contact you about this. Could you check out my site as well?
It is a multisite setup, the theme is active on the testsitecs folder. See details in Private content space
August 2, 2016 at 4:35 pm #667732Hi Josue,
have you had time to check my problem with the icons that are not showing (in front and back end…)? Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards, ClaudiaAugust 3, 2016 at 3:13 am #667898Hi,
The following thread might help with the icon issue. Check the .htaccess file for any conflicting redirects: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/transparent-menu-disappear-after-last-enfold-theme-update/

RewriteBase /wordpress/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

<FilesMatch “\.(ttf|otf|woff)$”>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>
# END Icons showingI can´t see a problem there. Do you? The icons are not visible. Please check!
Thanks. ClaudiaAugust 5, 2016 at 3:50 am #668793Hi,

We replaced the font assets in the parent theme. The icons are displaying now.

IsmaelAugust 14, 2016 at 9:06 pm #672405Hi Ismael,
thank you for your help. You are great! The only thing that is still bothering, is that the icons are not showing in the backend either. e.g. In the Avia Layout Builder there are no icons showing for copying a column (or a picture…) or deleting it. :(
Sorry for being such a pain in the a…, but I can´t find the bug!
Best regards, ClaudiaAugust 16, 2016 at 7:55 am #673043Hi,
Please download a latest copy of the theme from themeforest and replace the theme folder via FTP in wp-content\themes – http://vimeo.com/67209750
Let us know if issue remains.

thanks for your help. Can you tell me exactly which folders you changed? I hope I can solve the problem myself in the future…
