    Hello,

I have taken the Html for the Google Maps feature from inspecting the element in Chrome, and I’ve applied it to a different page
and all the html, and css works but I need the Jquery of

    var av_google_map

for the function of Google Maps to work

Please let me know what Jquery is needed to get Google Maps to work

    Thanks

    Hi watchamacolin!

Thank you for using the theme.

I’m sorry but why do you need to add jquery? You can easily use the Google Maps element on the advance layout builder if you want to show a map. Can you please explain it further?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Ismael,

    Thanks for your response

Yes I have used the layout builder to create the Google Maps element. I then copied that HTML that was created from layout builder and pasted it into a new page. The Html and CSS works but the function of the maps does not, which is why Im asking if there is some jquery or Javascript I’m missing to make the map function, since I had copied and pasted the HTML

You can view the map that I copied and pasted the HTML here

all the way at the bottom

    any thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Instead of copying the HTML code of the google map, try to use the do_shortcode function with the help of a plugin. Refer to this link: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/jquery-needed-for-animations-to-work-on-viewpoint/#post-294123

    Cheers!
