Hi,
1. the WYSIWYG editor looks sometimes (for example when adding a toogle) very different to the usual version. It for exampole has no option to put a list in visual mode.2: When i add an existing icon (png) via this editor by “add file” i see the png in the editors preview.
But i dont see it in the frontend.
When i check the sourcecode i see a relative link like this:It gets even more weird:
When i add another icon it has the correct URL (including the domain). Save, publish, correct
Then i corrected the first icon i added so that it has the whole URL…saved, published and now this one is correct but the icon i added before now has the relative link “../wp-content/..” again.
This is very very timeconsumingSo its clear now that it has nothing to do with CHMOD or so – its an issue with the editor.
So whats the issue here and how can i fix it?Elvira
PS: And now it gets totally crazy
The WYSIWYG editor now looks like it should again but i did not change anything except editing the postJuly 9, 2022 at 11:46 am #1357771Hey InSilentio,
Where can we see and reproduce the problem you are having?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 9, 2022 at 1:28 pm #1357784It gets even more weird:
-The Editor changes almost everytime when i save.
– I edit something, i save. Its OK. I edit something else and all the edits i have done before are lost. Specially breaks. This is the editor i expect and i am used to and which i get in about 50% of all cases:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NMz9N9yb_WIGEuChlcn0oJan9VEorcIu/view?usp=sharingThis is the “weird” editor which seems to cause the trouble and which i see in the other 50% of all cases:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IimU3dOxX9jr-qdhZhLF0SE1lUJRTOSB/view?usp=sharingAnd when this weird editor “magically” comes in charge the HTML shows a lot of markup i did not add like this:
<span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"> <br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">
And this “weird Editor” does not give the option to add ALB elements like the other editor does

July 10, 2022 at 7:53 pm #1357889Hi,
Thanks for the screenshots your “weird” editor looks like it was added from a plugin, perhaps TinyMCE Advance, notice the “powered by Tiny” text.
Try finding the plugin and disabling it, this doesn’t occur in the theme with a new install so it is either a plugin or a customization.Best regards,
MikeJuly 17, 2022 at 8:07 pm #1358615Hi,
I already noticed that “powered by” even before posting here.
I did not install any other editor plugin.
I disabled all plugins and i still get the issue sometimes.
I did not do any customization besides some CSS – but that does not bring a new editor in charge.
Even the “normal” editor behaves weird – breaks are gone when i open the page again for editing. That is soooooo timeconsuming…None of these plugins brings a Tiny with it:

July 17, 2022 at 8:45 pm #1358618Hi,
Glad to hear that you also noticed the “powered by Tiny” text on the “weird” editor, there must be something on your site adding this “weird” editor because it is not in any element on my clean Enfold install.
From past experience, I have only seen this with the TinyMCE Advance plugin.
Try creating a test sub-domain with a fresh WordPress & Enfold install and see if this “weird” editor is found there.Best regards,
Mike -
