I have been having issues for the last month or more with a couple of things and I cannot seem to find the answers that work. I have searched the help forums and done everythign I can think of and it’s driving me nuts:
1. Google is indexing a ton of Enfold theme URLS in the /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework
For example, I only have 5 pages on my website, but google is indexing over 30. They consist of the above url with stuff after the /framework, such as images/colorpicker, php/wordpress-importer, images/icons, ect, ect……I cannot get google to stop reading and indexing these. The #2 keyword on my site, according to google search console is “PNG”, due to all of these URL’s from enfold, which include PNG files. This is obviously not good for SEO as you can imagine.2. Googlebot cannot render my pages fully. What i mean, is that it will see about half my page and that is it. This is coming straight from the fetch and render portion of search console. Their is no rhyme or reason to why it’s only rendering half of the pages…the stuff it cant render is mostly just text too, nothing fancy. Again, if goggle cannot see half of the stuff on my page, thats a problem. If you or I were to go to my website, we’d see everything just fine as it’s supposed to be.
Before I purchased enfold, I had zero issues with either of the above two examples, so if i can’t find a solution, I’m going to have to remove enfold. I don’t want to do that, so if anyone can help me out, I’d much appreciate it.

October 16, 2016 at 7:51 pm #699675I’m curious to see some answers for this, as well. I have found in the past that my plugin ‘Constant Contact by Mail Munch’ was preventing google from rendering the page. I would suggest you disable all plugins and enable them one by one and see if you can narrow your problem down.I think the fetching and indexing worked out okay, but the rendering failed.
October 18, 2016 at 9:52 pm #700898Hi,
we recommend to work with Yoast SEO plugin to have control over such functions.
Best regards,
AndyOctober 27, 2016 at 3:10 am #704634I have used Yoast to disable the framework and such but it didn’t do anyting. It’s been 2 months now.
Also, google cannot render any of my pages properly. It only renders half of every page, and then it cuts off. I never had a problem with that when I used my prior theme.October 30, 2016 at 4:49 am #705742Hi!
1.) You should disallow those folders or directory using robot.txt file. However, reading inquiry #2, I’m assuming that you already have this file in your installation.
// http://www.robotstxt.org/robotstxt.html
2.) Did you disallow any directories in the robot.txt file? Crawlers need access to the script and stysheet to render the page properly.

IsmaelOctober 30, 2016 at 11:11 am #705784Same issues here…seems that since enfold 3.6 or so seo/google related issues come across more often. older versions of enfold does not have these kinds of issues, but i am afraid of using these old theme versions, even google maps is working perfectly good which is astonishing. :-) interesting thread.
November 3, 2016 at 3:04 am #707472Hi,
Did you try to disallow those directories using robot.txt? You can also password-protect the directories to keep them from being indexed.

IsmaelMarch 28, 2017 at 3:51 pm #768227Hi Guys,
I’m having the same problem when I ‘Fetch as Google’ I get an error warning saying access denied!http://mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ (this link is denied by Google bots)
I am using Yoast SEO and have disables Avia Framework (via_framwork_post) from the sitemap does this have anything to do with the problem?
How do I fix this problem?
Is it an Enfold theme or a server problem?I have bought several Enfold themes and this is the first time that this problem has occurred.
Regards,
