    Hi guys,

    I was setting up some English pages and trying to setup the english portfolio as a second language for our website http://www.northware.mx, and suddenly the logo and style of the background for the whole site is gone. They are not showing anywhere and the page is getting downloaded very slow.

    I flushed the permalinks trying to setup the english portfolio and that’s about it. I didn´t touch any media file nor messed with any settings.

    Let me know what you need to help….

    Hi genarojrs!

    You need to configure the Theme Options for the English language separately. Please switch to the English language then go to Enfold > Styling > select a predefined color scheme.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Ismael,

    I don’t think you get my point. All the website got messed up. Theme options are well configured on a predefined color scheme both in english and spanish.

    Is as if all the links that point to the pictures in the whole website are not working. The advanced slider is not showing anywhere along with the background and the logo. In other computer no one picture is showing in spanish nor in english. Actually, english language is disabled…please take a look at the website once again and revert…www.northware.mx

    Guys,

    We need your SPECIAL help as we just realized that this has to do with the theme not with the hosting, wordpress or other thing. Here’s what we have:

    When loading the theme images won’t load (That’s why the logo and background are not showing), even when accessing directly through http. However, when accessing through ftp the file can be seen.

    Examples:

    ftp://74.220.215.237/northware/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/desarrollo-de-software-260×163.png

    vs

    http://74.220.215.237/northware/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/desarrollo-de-software-260×163.png

    We have noticed that images with the display issues are located on that particular folder.

    When activating a different theme images load without any issues.

    So far we have tried:

    Uploading a previous backup (The whole WP installation)
    Restoring DB backups
    Reviewing the htaccess file (it is exactly the same as any other WP installation)

    But the issues persist.

    Please advise

    SOLVED…PLEASE READ BELOW, IT MIGHT HELP YOU OR OTHERS….

    We really don’t know why it happened or which plugin did it but the .htaccess file had a weird line. Once we Comment that line, everything worked and got back to normal.

    Here it is:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    #RewriteRule (.*) /index.php?uamfiletype=attachment&uamgetfile=$1 [L]
    </IfModule>
