Hi, i have spent many hours in the gallery media element.
I think it does not work as it seems in your demo website.
Here is my website with the gallery at the left of the bottom of the home page. http://www.petrapyra.gr/
Here you can see my settings
http://postimg.org/image/g5kqjzdg1/
1. For some reason i cannot explain , thumbnails look faded as you can see here:
http://s21.postimg.org/7bipozx07/bad_capture.jpg
instead of the bright thumnails in your demo website here:
http://s13.postimg.org/gk7xxhe3r/good_capture.jpg
2. Moreover when i have my mouse over the thumbnail the big image does not change as in the demo.
3. The caption seems as an ugly link below the big image as you can see here:
http://s21.postimg.org/7bipozx07/bad_capture.jpg
instead of the pretty balloon caption that appear in your demo website as you can see here:
http://s13.postimg.org/gk7xxhe3r/good_capture.jpg
4. Unless i set “yes” in Use lightbox option in Settings it open the image in a new window….
Please help!
Thank you in advance!

September 3, 2013 at 12:53 pm #138891Hi Kostas,
My guess is a plugin is causing a javascript conflict with the theme which is stopping the gallery from running correctly. So you can try disabling all plugins then logging out of WordPress, closing the browser and then logging back in and testing the gallery items again.

Devin
September 3, 2013 at 6:15 pm #138892Hi Devin,
I m afraid that i followed exactly your instructions and the problem with the gallery persists.
You can see it at the left bottom of my homepage.
Do you want to send you, in private, admin credentials to have a look at this please??
Thank you,
Kostas
September 3, 2013 at 11:05 pm #138893In that case, re-download the theme files from your downloads on themeforest and then re-upload the theme files again. Try doing so via FTP and go folder by folder to make sure there are no errors.
This video on updating the theme via FTP will show you how to update the files via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
September 4, 2013 at 3:57 pm #138894Unfortunatelly, i had already tried this before i asked for your help.
I had made no configurations in the theme so i thought to re upload all the theme files of the last version…
It had no effects…
I can t understand what can happen.
Could you please login in my website to find what s wrong?

Please create me a wordpress admin account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it.
Best regards,

September 7, 2013 at 5:35 am #138897Hi,
I fixed it. I changed the thumbnail size of the gallery images and applied a small patch which fixes a js error when you use menu names with non Latin characters (eg Cyrillic or Greek characters).
