Hi all,
Having some issues with 4.05 – when I go to edit a page on the site, the advanced layout editor isnt allowing me to click anything. If editing existing – text boxes specifically are not allowing updates, not displaying the toolbar (formatting etc.) and generally displaying strangely. I’m also noticing some icons missing in the advanced layout editor (1/5 for example).
Images below, please help!
Cheers

Thanks!

April 5, 2017 at 7:27 am #772261Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I checked your home page and I can’t see any problem when editing a text block, are you seeing the error messages on a specific page? The errors seem related to plugins so you might want to disable all plugins to see if any of them are causing a conflict.
Best regards,
RikardApril 5, 2017 at 10:32 am #772371Hi, thanks for your response.
Strange that you can’t see these issues. Please on your next check can you try clicking between the tabs of ‘Layout Elements’, ‘Content Elements’ and ‘Media Elements’ as this is a good example of the non-responsive nature of my issue. On the surface it looks like it is all normal but there are still problems.
On any post, page or portfolio item I am unable to get the layout editor to work – with the above issues displaying in the console, screenshot attached of my view of the homepage on the wordpress backend.
I’ve tried deactivating plugins, re-installing Enfold, repairing permissions, updating to the latest PHP version and allowing more memory for wordpress on the server and i’m still getting the same 403 errors in the console when trying to load any page in the WordPress CMS that uses the Advanced Layout Editor.
Do you have any other suggestions – really stuck here!
April 6, 2017 at 10:18 am #773060Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I checked your about page, and I can see a lot of 404 error on a few WordPress files, please see private. Could you try reinstalling WordPress to fix those?
I still can’t see the error messages you posted in your screenshot though, I switched between the tabs a couple of times but I’m only seeing the errors in private. Do we need to do anything in particular more that just selecting to edit a page?
Best regards,
Rikard -
