    Sup,

Love Enfold. Our business has purchased Enfold countless times.

However, we’ve been having some issues as of late.

    1. Issue: Uncaught ReferenceError: wp_editor is not defined
When loading or editing a page with the Advanced Editor, 90% of the time the editor does not load, instead it just spins for eternity. The only fix we have found is switching back to default and back to advanced. We receive this console error: Uncaught ReferenceError: wp_editor is not defined

Please let me know what you think is causing this.

    2. Issue: We recently installed the Shop Demo, and breaks the WordPress media uploader for unknown reasons. Upon clicking “Upload”, no pop-up file locator comes up…. nothing happens. Not a big issue, since we do not

    3. Suggestion: Add more developer ID’s and classes for elements, columns, headlines, etc.

    4. Suggestion: Add more icons! Is it possible to pull from the Font Awesome repository? We have manually added FontAwesome many times to Enfold, but that takes time. It would be nice to have more than 300 icons. I also understand it is possible to add icons from fontello, but that is also inconvenient. Also, Icon search feature!

    5. Suggestion: Please allow us to add all google fonts available for “Headings” available for “paragraph/content” fonts. The selection for paragraph fonts is weak. We know about the function to add google fonts, but that is inconvenient.

    6. Suggestion: More header designs. For example, Menu below slider.

I’ll also throw this into the suggestions thread as well, but please let me know about Issue #1

    Hey arcmktg,

Thank you for the kind words and reaching ou to us. We really appreciate it.

    1. This is more of less a wordpress editor related and some theme files depend on it. Please try to install thisplugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/ it should get rid of this error message. If yous till continue to face the issue please create a new admin user and delete the old one. We have found that doing this has helped resolve this issue for some users.

    2. It appears to be a plugin conflict. Please deactivate all active plugins and refresh the page to see if the issue persist.

    3. Please turn on custom css class name support to add unique class names to builder elements.

    4. Adding more icons from fontello should not take much time at all. Just select the icons from fontello site and give it a unique name download the package and import it in theme options. However at the moment adding Font Awesome icons in theme options is not possible please feel free to request such feature at our feature request system: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

Another reason the theme does not come loaded with all the icons is because it takes a lot of loading time and it helps to keep the theme light weight. Users can easily add fontello icons of their choice and keep the loading speed to minimum always :)

    5. Please feel free to request such feature at our feature request system: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

    6. We are working on more demos and headers.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Great, thank you!

Also, maybe you can answer this. These issues have always bugged me about Enfold.

-Clicking “Edit Homepage” in the top admin bar always opens up in a new tab. Why?
-Uploading images always defaults to a medium size inside the page builder. Full-screen backgrounds always default to “medium”, which is tiny. This is the only theme I have ever used that defaults to a very small size, resulting in extra clicks… Why is this?

    Hi!

    – To make it better for usability, so changes take place and also a live preview.
    – That is how WordPress works and takes place on features. It generates all the available sizes.

    Thanks a lot

    Cheers!

“To make it better for usability, so changes take place and also a live preview.”
OK, when editing Enfold homepages I usually have 24 tabs open because of this feature.

“That is how WordPress works and takes place on features. It generates all the available sizes.”
This is the only theme I have seen that defaults to medium, and frankly, it’s annoying. I get that it’s only a few clicks, but it seems counter-intuitive to default to something much smaller than the image I sized perfectly in Photoshop before uploading. It seems it would be more intuitive if the default size is the size we originally uploaded.

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

    – Please close the previous tabs when opening another. If you want to disable this feature, please edit the framework > php > function-set-avia-backend.php file, look for the avia_backend_admin_bar_menu function then remove this code around line 874:

    'meta' => array('target' => 'blank')

    – Which element is this? I uploaded a background in a color section and the ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS > Size option defaults to Full Size.

    Regards,
    Ismael
