I’m using MacBook Pro, running OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 and Safari Version 8.0.7 (10600.7.12).
I have a couple of sites built with Enfold:
http://sv-arx.com/ looks and works as expected in Safari. However, http://baseballrulesvideo.com does not work at all in Safari. A month ago, we were seeing issues with the Back button in Safari not working. Now, no links from the home page work; clicking on any link simply makes the page go blank. Nothing appears to be loading.
July 29, 2015 at 4:22 pm #480327Hey Paul!
Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.2.3 firstly – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,

Thank you; I learned what I needed to do in creating the API key, and get the automatic updates, and now I am updated to 3.2.3. I cleared the cache and restarted Safari. I am still seeing the same behavior. Clicking any link on the home page goes right to a blank screen.
We’ve made some simple code modifications, done by a developer, to a couple of the plugins and the Child Theme, but I don’t THINK they would be causing this issue.
For someone like me, who understands a little about some of the code modifications, I think I simply need to hear from you that there is no “known issue” with Enfold/Safari like this, and there is no obvious reason why Safari is having a problem with this specific site. If you can confirm that is an accurate statement, then it helps me, because I am planning on using Enfold for multiple sites in the near future.
Thanks for any help you can give me in understanding this.
Sincerely,

July 31, 2015 at 5:59 am #481096Hi,
I had a look at your site on more or less the same setup as you were having problems with, only difference being the browser version (8.0.6), and it seems to be working fine on my end. The only problem being pages not loading when using the back button which is a known bug we are working on solving. Could you try removing your browser cache and reloading a few times to see if that helps?

Thank you! Just knowing that the the back button problem is a known bug is a big relief! Also, thank you for confirming what I thought MIGHT be true, that I must be having some sort of a caching issue. However, I’ve emptied the caches and restarted many times. I’ve also tried selecting “Disable Caches,” but nothing helps. I still get a blank screen for ANY link on the home page (with no ‘loading’ indicator).I’ll stop at the local Apple Store, and see if there is anything they could recommend, at the Genius Bar.
Thank you for the reply and information. Once I figure out this issue, specific to my machine, I will post it here.
Sincerely,
PaulJuly 31, 2015 at 12:50 pm #481292 -
