Hi guys,
I’ve reverted to a previous (pre new header) version as my site is an active business site so I want to be able to correct the issues immediately on update. If you know of these issues or how to correct without seeing live on my site that would be amazing.
The horizontal rulers with whitespace, when updated to the new version, are much larger whitespace than previously. Do you know what would be causing this? I have them throughout the main page of my site and you can see their locations on the current live site.
Secondly, in the past, to stop the page from moving up and down as my testimonials increased/decreased in length, I added the following code to custom css which fixed this:
#info div.flex_column:nth-child(4){ height:100px; }
After the update the problem has returned even with this code remaining in custom.css.
Thanks for your help on both of the above! Really appreciate it.

JonathanMarch 31, 2014 at 3:12 am #245260URL is http://www.kimberfire.com. As mentioned, the current live theme is a previous version without issues but it will allow you to see location of horizontal rulers and testimonials. No changes were made after this except for installing the new theme and then the issues mentioned arise.
Thanks you!
March 31, 2014 at 6:21 pm #245595Hi!
Thank you for using the support forum!
The horizontal rule element’s height can be set when you’re using the whitespace option. The default height for the horizontal rule is 50px. You can decrease that value if you want.
I checked the testimonials but I don’t see the “jump” issue. If I am not mistaken, you’re talking about the testimonials o the home page right below “View All Reviews on Google+” text.
Nice website. :)

The site is currently fine as I reverted to v2.5 of the theme. When I upgrade though, my horizontal ruler whitespace shows much larger than what I had set it as. I was hoping you can tell me why this is happening and how to fix it so I can fix immediately on upgrade – is it a known issue?
The jump issue is fine because of the code I’d mentioned previously – but the update breaks this as well.
Do you need to see the upgrade live to fix or do you know why it might be happening? It’s a business site with live adwords going to it so I’d rather not leave it up not looking right.
Thanks,
JonathanApril 2, 2014 at 1:39 am #246341I went ahead and put the updated theme back so you can see the issue. If possible please take a look at this as soon as possible so I don’t leave it up looking like this! =)
Screenshot of old theme: http://i.imgur.com/cTu4kN1.png
Screenshot of new version: http://i.imgur.com/fSyHfXg.pngYou can see the whitespace that the horizontal rulers are now displaying below the slider, and this also happens with every other horizontal ruler whitespace on the page. Why is this happening? I didn’t make any changes to the page, only updated the theme.
If I inspect element and use the first horizontal ruler as an example, the code shows as follows for each:
Old:
<div style="height:35px" class="hr hr-invisible avia-builder-el-2 avia-builder-el-first "><span class="hr-inner"><span class="hr-inner-style"></span></span></div>
New:
<div style="height:35px" class="hr hr-invisible avia-builder-el-2 el_before_av_one_full avia-builder-el-first "><span class="hr-inner"><span class="hr-inner-style"></span></span></div>
So it looks like the theme update added “el_before_av_one_full” to the horizontal ruler… any ideas?
I hope this helps, and thank you! I’m sure I’m not the only person the update would have done this too so I hope it helps others as well.

JonathanApril 2, 2014 at 11:27 pm #246771Hi guys, I’m sorry to bug you but I’m wondering if I should go back to the old theme until this is fixed? Is it something you need to look into? I just can’t have up as is for much longer. Thanks!
April 3, 2014 at 6:54 am #246872I am having the same issue, changing the value of the whitespace horizontal rule has no effect.
Cheers,
Bec.April 3, 2014 at 4:54 pm #247119Can someone please look at this? I put a lot of time and detail into my description above. Really appreciate it! =)
