I am using the lastest version of your theme 3.1.5 and get error on yoast plugin when creating sitemap:
XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
Location: https://www.psweb-test1.com/sitemap_index.xml
Line Number 7, Column 1:<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?><?xml-stylesheet type=”text/xsl” href=”//www.psweb-test1.com/main-sitemap.xsl”?>I have also disabled all plugins and still get issue, can you please help. I think this is to do with the amount of whitespace before the declaration.
site is at http://www.psweb-test1.com
Many Thanks
Peter

May 4, 2015 at 8:22 pm #439266Hey condonpb!
Try activating just Enfold instead of your child theme to see what happens. Be sure to keep all plugins deactivated while testing.
If that does not help then try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

Try it now, that whitespace was caused by the code you have in the child theme functions.php.
Cheers!

I have done some testing and it looks as though the culprit is the child function.php file causing the issue. Could you help please as my php skills are somewhat lacking and I dont know how to detect any white space issues.
Many ThanksPete
May 7, 2015 at 4:03 pm #441020Hey!
so what happens if you remove Ismael’s code from your functions.php? does the issue goes away? after your testing which part of the code in your functions.php is causing the issue?
Cheers!
AndyMay 7, 2015 at 6:52 pm #441149I was asking Josue for some help with the issue as I am unsure what part of the code is causing the problem. As I explained my php skills are very limited and was asking for help.

May 7, 2015 at 8:34 pm #441209This is normally out of scope as it involves debugging something not made by us, however i managed to remove all unnecessary whitespace in your child functions.php, check if it got fixed.
