We have had some issues with disappearing elements on a few pages of our site and now have some more concrete details.

Here are the steps that lead to the issue:

I logged into the Joe’s Deli site and opened up the Hertel Ave test page to edit. I clicked on the catalogue under Snacks and deleted all the list items (as if there was nothing currently available for snacks on that day). I then updated the page and this is what it looked like:

For some reason – that change forced all of the content to stack in one column instead of the two columns set up in the back end. So I then went back to look at the back end and now the Salads / Wraps heading is gone:

When I click on the catalogue section under snacks the two salads are listed with a blank “List Title” item at the top of the list. So I then updated the page again and it goes back to the two columns, but the Salads / Wraps heading is gone and the Snacks heading is paired up with the Salads / Wraps content which means a headline, a yellow decoration line, a catalogue section, and a whitespace element have all just disappeared.

I’ve tried this out with both and editor and admin account and the same thing happens. Seems odd that just having an empty catalogue element would cause such an issue.

    Hey sublime5o,

The theme name has an apostrophe in it, which breaks JavaScript. Could you remove it, make it “Joes …” and let us know if the issue persists.

    Best regards,
    Victoria
