Hi,
I’m having the following issue with the mobile menu of my site http://www.buildup.org.uk on both Android and Apple smart phones.
When I click on a main menu item (eg ABOUT), the sub menu associated with it is very quickly revealed and then (before I have time to see / use the submenu) the page jumps to the ABOUT page itself.
How can I avoid this happening and make the sub menu remain visible when I reveal it, without having to resort to having all menus being visible all the time.
Thankyou!

in your WordPress menu don’t use a page for ABOUT, but a Custom Link instead, where you use ‘#” as URL.

AndyFebruary 24, 2017 at 1:24 pm #751376Hi,
I’ve replaced the ‘ABOUT’ page link on my site with a custom link and used #about as the URL, but unfortunately the page link didn’t work when I viewed the site on desktop.
I then added a ‘about’ to the relevant colour section, however after doing this menu link still didn’t work
Can you advise?
My sites URL is http://www.buildup.org.uk
Thankyou!

do not replace is with “#about”, but with simply “#” instead.

AndyFebruary 27, 2017 at 2:19 pm #752253Hi Thanks Andy,
Following this means ‘ABOUT’ stops being a functional link on the main menu and I can not click through to the heading page of the ‘ABOUT’ section.
To clarify, I wanted to:
– Keep the option of clicking through to each main menu item from Desktop (or by clicking twice in mobile)
– On mobile menu, be able to click once to reveal the sub menu and click twice to go to the main menu item. How can I achieve this?
Thanks again for your assistance
HuanFebruary 27, 2017 at 3:22 pm #752300Hi,
well, if you want it to be clickable, then obviously it will redirect you as soon as you click on it. If you don’t want it to be clickable, then use “#” as already mentioned. This is not about the theme, but about default WordPress behavior.
Go to Enfold->Header->Mobile Menu->Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items
Maybe this is what you’re looking for.Best regards,
AndyMarch 3, 2017 at 11:46 am #754983Hi thanks Andy,
I’m currently using the ‘Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items’ setting. However when I click on each Main menu item on mobile the sub menu quickly flashes up then disappears. This isn’t a great user experience.
Is there any way of stopping this happening (either making the sub menu not flash up at all or setting the sub menu to fully reveal) without turning the ‘Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items’ setting off and showing the long list of all main menu and sub menu items?
Thanks again
HuanMarch 3, 2017 at 6:33 pm #755256Hi,
the only way is to use “#” inside a Custom Link menu, as already mentioned.
Best regards,
