issue with formatting the text within single blog posts

Hello,
I am having issues formatting my text correctly within a single blog post. I am using the default editor, copying the text from a word document and adding it to notepad to strip out the formatting and then uploading that to the page. It looks find in the backend of the site but when I look at it on the front end there are spaces where there shouldn’t be and half lines of text.
Could you tell me if there is any way to stop this happeing please? Only happend when I input to blog post – if i copy it to a page it works fine.

I did try adding the following css that i saw from another thread but it hasn’t helped.

}
