    Hi there,
I have embedded video from wistia on site alongside embedded news feed via taggbox. For some reason this is requesting ‘click here to display content’ rahter than autoplay as it should. This happens with each refresh. The site is still under construction and in coming soon mode. Is there some script that needs enabled in order to have the content appear automatically? I would prefer to host videos elsewhere rather than on the site as it can be laggy.
    Many thanks

    Hey Grosetheme,

The theme only supports self hosted videos, Youtube and Vimeo in the theme video elements. I’m not sure how you are displaying the videos, but I doubt that it’s a theme problem. What happens if you activate a default WordPress theme for example?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
Many thanks – that particular issue seems to have resolved itself after a hard refresh. We were also experiencing internet lag that day so maybe the did it.
I have the video in an iframe as I was still unable to get the enfold video element to work with either the self hosted version or the wistia version. The iframe works and is responsive, however I need to somehow add a fallback image in for some mobile devices. The iframe needs to be in a code block or text block as the video sits alongside other content within the column. Are you able to help with this?
    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. The video element doesn’t support iframe or wistia, so there’s nothing like that in the theme by default unfortunately. If you need a fallback image behind the video, then you might be able to set one using CSS in the container which contains the iframe.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
