    Hi,

    I build a new website and I would like to use your amazing one-page-portfolio demo; However, when trying to do so, I get an error message: “Importing didn’t work! You might want…..Sorry there has been an error. This does not appear to be a WXR file. missing/invalid WXR version number” ; see this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/NZNk0pvI

    Any idea why it’s occuring???

    Same thing happened to me when trying to load the Small Business Flat Demo. My error message just said “Import Didn’t Work. Reload the page and try again.” I used WordPress Reset when it wasn’t working and tried again…no luck. please help!

    I resolved this issue by using IE rather than Chrome (where I was experiencing the issue). The demo content loaded perfectly on the first try. Good ‘ol Internet Explorer…

    It does work fine on my local installation. Can you please try on another browser as @scott4885 suggested?
