    My configuration :
    Wordpress : version 4.2.1
    Enfold parent : version : 3.1.3
    Enfold child theme downloaded from the themeforest’s page (enfold-child.zip)

    Hi,

    I work on the child theme of Enfold on my website. It’s works but when I activate the parent theme (to check a bug on the menu) all parameters are lost. I notice that this comportment is different on previous version of Enfold (on an old website, when I activate the parent theme my configuration is the same than the child theme). Why ?

    Hey stefmichaud!

    The parent theme and child theme act as separate themes so all of their options are going to be saved separately. There is an option in Dashboard > Enfold > Import/Export though if you want to import the parent theme settings into your child theme.

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot.

    We just tried and it works but we lost the color setting of the theme. The menu becomes green, the buttons too… Is there another way to import all the theme settings.

    Hi!

    That is the only way that I know of. Not sure why you lost the color settings. You can just click the style you wish to use again in Dashboard > Enfold > General Styling.
