    I would like to create a page of say six images that I can link from. However, I would like those links to work as a category filter system similar to say the masonry feature. The idea being that if I click one of this images I’m taken to a page that only displays the items associated to that particular category.

    Thanks

    Hi Dogmut

    I would say this is definitely possible.
    You just create separate pages (your category pages) with the content you would like to display there such as /category1, /category2, etc.

    Afterwards you can put a link to your images on the homepage and like it like this:
    Image 1 -> /category1
    Image 2 -> /category2

    And there you have your filter if you have separate pages for each of your category obivously.

    Cheers

    Hi Dogmut,

    Have you tried Michael’s solution? Or do you need more help?

    Many thanks. Not sure I have that. If Im looking at blog posts for example, say cat1 to 5. I then have the home page masonry with images cat 1 to 5 im not sure how going to a page for each cat will work. How will i have all the blogs under say cat 1 on that page or am I missing something.

    Hi, Dogmut

    The masonry will display posts from the category, so this is probably what you’re looking for. What Michael suggested is adding images to the page and linking them to the category pages, so that the user clicks on the image and goes to the category page.

    Does this make sense?

    Best regards,
    Victoria
