I have a hidden page that will act as a thank you for opting in and click here to download your free pdf gift button.
I’d like to encourage people to share my website with their friends. I see in the Content Elements a Social Share Button, but I don’t want people sharing this page, but my homepage. I’d like their friends to subscribe to my email list too to get to this page/gift.
Thanks.
April 16, 2015 at 11:09 am #429490Hi dominiquehurley!
Thank you for using Enfold.
You can use plugins like AddThis or Simple Share Buttons but AddThis is the most comprehensive social tool that I know: https://www.addthis.com/
You need to create an account and register the website but I don’t think it’s possible to share only the homepage. The buttons will link to the current page they are on.
Best regards,

April 16, 2015 at 2:41 pm #429619Hi!
You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.Cheers!
YigitApril 16, 2015 at 2:56 pm #429630Sorry Yigit – read that several times and looked at your links, but not sure what you mean or how this would apply to this question about general Share buttons in my footer or on a page for my website. It’s above my head, I’m afraid.
BTW, The times I switched from Default to Advanced in the editor my content disappeared (but was recuperated by not updating and instead closing browser tab).
I don’t have any share buttons in any Advanced Page Layout – in another thread I asked about why they’re not showing up on new posts using these. I also don’t have any Share buttons in my footer – I couldn’t find a Widget to add to the footer in Enfold – only the Like my facebook page.
April 16, 2015 at 3:02 pm #429633Hi!
If you do not mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately, i can add social share buttons to your footer.
