Also- Is there a way to see the html/text edit version of the visual editor? I’d like to be able to edit my own html and shortcodes.

    Hi,

Here’s a workaround: create a page and put all the shortcodes you want using the visual editor, after that change to the default Theme, then go the page and you will see the shortcodes in plain text, learn their syntax and you would not need to use the visual editor.

    Regards,

    Josue

Hello. I dont think this would work because this is a production site. We cant just change the theme while the site is live… Plus, if we changed the theme to default, we would lose ALL settings/styling for the whole site which we cannot do….

What we want to be able to do is duplicate blocks/sections from one page (not the whole page) to another. There is no way to do this easily?

Actually you don’t need to change the theme. If it’s a standard post you just need to switch from the “Visual” mode to the “Text” mode to copy the shortcodes. If you want to copy the content of a dynamic layout you can use the “Save Template” button ( http://www.screenr.com/ee97 ) or activate the debug mode ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-copy-contents-from-the-demo-pages-to-a-new-page#post-137408 ) to have access to the plain shortcode source code.
