Hey Guys really nice theme! You should check out the mobile NAvigation we build in:
BUT
There is one big problem. The page has really bad performance! Is there any hint you can give us to optimize the page – now it takes 8 seconds to load the page (and some files are allready cached) –> SO MUCH MUCH TO LONG!
Please give us an advise what we can do.

The version of the theme you are using is quite old at this point. There have been some performance improvement with updates as well as a lot of bug fixes. So that is the first step I would suggest.
The second is to just minify your scripts using http://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-minify/ . Kriesi uses this on the theme demo and even with it being bloated showing all the features and functionality it runs quite quickly.
On my end however, I’m not seeing any performance issue with the site.

Hello. We also really like the theme but are having performance issues. Our live website is here:
I’ve tried using bwp-minify, and while it doesn’t appear to affect the site layout and text, it does throw off the main image sliders. I’ve taken some screen shots of the different states but don’t see how to attach them to this response. Any help would be much appreciated!

I see you are using PNG images for the slider, and each one is nearly 1MB size, i’d recommend converting them to JPG and also optimizing them with a tool like this.

The slow loading speed might be because of the plugins installed. You have a total of 34 plugins which is real lot for a WordPress site. Can you minimize them or remove those you don’t really use? You can also use caching plugins like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache to improve page loading speed.
