It looks like I can no longer get to pages that have been put in the trash in WordPress. And therefore I can’t go in to view or use a page that was part of demo content. I’m thinking of About the Team content right now.

Is it possible to get or load a layout template or content for just one page?

    Hey Dandelion222,

Yes it’s possible, first off please enable debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode, then link to the page you want the shortcodes for and we’ll give them to you.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

I think I’ve added the code successfully. I do see a box on the page editor with a couple of short codes that I have not seen or noticed before. But I am not sure what you mean by “link to the page I want shortcodes for.”

Actually – it looks like that box of short codes now appears on all pages that use the advanced builder. I’m going to remove that code from the functions page. That code will be confusing for the other users of the site and I think they may end up messing with it.

I want to make a Meet the Team page and I thought it would be nice to start with the demo. I had that page for a long time in draft. Then I moved it to trash. Is it no longer possible to move pages out of the trash area?

    Hi,

Please point us to the demo page for which you need the shortcode to get a head start. We will provide you with the shortcode which you can paste into the page and save it to view the editable pre-built elements in the backend.

Yes, You can restore the page from trash. Just go to the trash and click on restore page :)

    Vinay,

I cannot give you the url for the About the Team demo page because all the demo’s have the same url: https://kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold-overview. But it is the About the Team page. And it’s not that hard to recreate. I could have sworn you had one where the photos were round. I know that’s something I do on my end – but it’s just weird that they look different than I remember.

Also -The trash thing is an issue specifically because it is not possible to just go to the trash and restore it. I know that’s what I should be able to do. That is what I have done for years. That’s why I said things like “it is no longer possible” and “it looks like I can no longer get to…” Those phrases are hints that I am aware of the norm and that something is different now.

Here’s a screenshot of the menu options at the top of the pages index page. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2djtglg&s=9#.WxKunlMvyZM
See? The word Trash is not there. Is there another way to get to it?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Please close the demo bar or the iframe bar and the URL’s will appear. I’m assuming you are requesting from the 2017 demo. Here you go the shortcode for the about page:
    https://pastebin.com/raw/brzn4zQW

Trash link will appear after you delete a page or a post :)

    Vinay,

At first I thought your suggestion regarding the trash was ridiculous. Of course there should already be items in the trash – I’ve worked on this site for several years – there are many files I have put in the trash along the way. But then I remembered that we did actually migrate the site to a new host a few months ago. I realized we might not have migrated the trashed files along with the rest. So I tested it and sure enough, the trash link appeared. Thanks for the clue to help me realize that is what had happened.

Re the shortcode – I am confused. I have tried adding that code in the advanced builder and in the default builder. I have tried adding it to visual and to text. I tried adding a code block element and pasting it in there. In the past, I have always just added short code in to the visual tab. Where a, I supposed to paste this in exactly?

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. If you have activated debug mode correctly, then you should see a new box under the actual builder, that is where you should paste the shortcode.

If you still can’t get it working then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a look at the backend.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Have you tried to restore the page, through the dashboard?

    good morning
would you mind being more precise? what procedure do you mean by the dashboard? I do not know why, but restoring previous versions of a page does not work properly

alternatively, I was trying to create another contact form on the “Contact” page, but the drop-down menu for choosing accommodation remains open, what can I do?
One more thing, why I ‘m not able to activate LayerSliderWP with the purchase code of the license?

i’don’t understand…why i must disable the tamplate and reupload from codecanyon??? to restore the contact page???
the website is almost ready, I’m afraid I’ll lose my job.
can you help me to activate LayerSliderWP with the purchase code of the license? why it doesn’t work?

    #1079362

    Hi andrearg6,

The LayerSlider is bundled with the theme and can’t be activated with the theme purchase code. If you want to activate the LayerSlider then you will need to purchase a separate license for it, though I don’t see any reason as why you would need to do that.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
