    I have looked through the forum. I have seen that you can change blog page which holds all of your blogs using advanced layout builder by changing the settings in the theme options and have done this. but i want my actual blog post to be made using advanced layout builder – is this possible ? if so what am i missing ?

    It is possible as well. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold 3.2 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
