Hi guys,
My client has asked for a forum area to be added to their enfold built site. Is this possible? If not, would you consider it in the future?
Thanks,
Krissie

It is possible to add forum feature to Enfold out of box using bbPress plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress/
Enfold is fully compatible with it.Best regards,
YigitJuly 8, 2015 at 1:21 pm #470233It’s very basic though. Can you recommend any others? Do you use bbPress for your own forum then?
Thanks Yigit! :)
July 8, 2015 at 1:34 pm #470243Hey!
Yes, we do use bbPress on our forum as well. It provides many hooks, so you can always build on it :)
Cheers!

July 8, 2015 at 2:44 pm #470299July 8, 2015 at 2:54 pm #470304I’ve added bbPress but not sure how to set it up properly. I’ve created a forum page and I’ve created forums within the actual forum section in the backend. I’ve added the bbPress widgets within the Forum widget too.
Now I’m not sure how to get the Forum page to show the forums I’ve created. Also the search box button gets chopped off by the template.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, does bbPress give you the email notifications as an option like you’ve got on here? I need that too.
Thanks

Refer to:
https://codex.bbpress.org/step-by-step-guide-to-setting-up-a-bbpress-forum/Regarding the search bar, can you post a link to your site so we can take a look?
Cheers!
JosueJuly 9, 2015 at 2:23 pm #470871Great, thanks for link.
Should bbpress shortcodes work in the avia code block?
I’ve taken the widget search away, so that is sorted.
Although when I share the link to the live forum page I get an internal error message: see below.
Any ideas why this is happening? How do you set up the avia login/register widget to work with bbPress? Like you have for this forum?
Thanks. :)
