Hi, I have been working on my website (franchiseelites.com) for months. However, indexing process with google is taking so long. Now, some dumb people started to copy and paste our content into his website and it seems google recognizes his content much quicker than ours. His website is on top of google search results with our content.
Anyone of you guys have any idea?
September 27, 2014 at 1:42 am #325822Hi afarahani!
Yes, it is very SEO friendly. If the competitor is taking your content and ranking hire for the same search query it could be because of how the data is structured on your site vs how it is on yours or even, how you have your links set up between pages and then overall advertising between the two.
Dedicated campaigns to get the name out there so that it gains traffic will in turn mean it gets clicked on more and Google will rank that higher up.
The theme is coded for your content so that search engines can read it but the majority of the SEO is left up to the user.
Best regards,
DevinSeptember 29, 2014 at 5:39 pm #326688I haven’t created something strange. I have some pages, some blog pages and some portfolio pages and I have used Enfold theme to create them all. I do not have any specific data structure other than that Enfold has given me the tools. I use SEO plug-in to generate XML files and have submitted them to google for indexing. But it has been taking a long time and not all of my pages have been indexed. It has stopped after indexing around 80 of 233.
I realy need to know what the problem is. Can take a look at my website back-end and give me some feedback?
Thanks,

Ultimately we can’t control google or how it indexes anyone site. Kriesi uses Enfold here on his own site and we have had lots of users using the theme in thousands of websites so we do have a good bit of feedback from users that there are no major deviations from what is industry standard SEO.

For instance, on the home page alone there are 290 instances of the word Franchise and Google typically penalizes sites that have the same term so heavily repeated from what I know.

September 30, 2014 at 10:55 pm #327688Thanks for the feedback. However, I am still confused why it is taking so long (months) for google to finish indexing my pages. Indexing should be quick. right?
October 1, 2014 at 2:55 am #327809There is really no way for us to know the answer to that. On a typical installation of the theme there are no issues with that happening.
