I’ve encountered an odd issue on an Enfold based one-pager site – grsee.com – where the page is scrolled back up after a couple of seconds.
Expected: When scrolling down/up to a specific section of the page, the page should stay at the same position
Currently: when scrolling down, the page scrolls back up after some time – 10-20 sec.How to reproduce:
1. load page http://grsee.com/
2. Scroll down and stop at a section titled PCI CERTIFICATION
3. Click menu item (using anchor navigation) BLOG
4. Wait some time till page scrolls back up to the section titled PCI CERTIFICATIONApril 7, 2017 at 4:52 am #773658Hey nirvlior,
Thanks for the detailed description, though I can’t reproduce that on my end using Chrome. It stays on the blog section and there is no scrolling to the previous section. In what browser are you seeing that error?
Best regards,
RikardApril 7, 2017 at 7:21 pm #774144Hey Rikard,
I’m using Chrome and this was seen on at least three different computers. Also using incognito
I couldn’t reproduce this issue on FF.April 9, 2017 at 10:16 am #774862Hi,
Ok, thanks for feedback. I still can’t reproduce it so I think it something local on your end. Did you try to reproduce it from a different computer?
Best regards,
RikardApril 9, 2017 at 6:10 pm #775054I’ve reproduced it on several computers now. Have a look at this screen caption I’ve made – link to file attached.
April 9, 2017 at 8:06 pm #775101Hey!
Can you disable any of active plugins and any modifications done and try please again?
Regards,
BasilisApril 10, 2017 at 1:06 am #775198There’s one plugin active – Yoast SEO – I’ve disabled it and the issue persists (I reactivated for the time being).
I’m not making use of any custom js, only CSS added over Enfold’s Quick CSS text area.It happens when I navigate to BLOG and CONTACT, not to any other anchor on the page.
I think it has something to do with OUR TEAM’s slider transition but couldn’t debug the cause – the auto scroll happens in sync with the slider’s movement.- This reply was modified 7 years, 7 months ago by nirvlior.

AndyApril 12, 2017 at 9:39 pm #776914I’m at a loss here. I’m using a screen size of 1920px x 1080px. The issue could be related to the responsive view of the site.
April 14, 2017 at 2:20 pm #777830Hi,
can you upload your screen caption video to a platform like youtube and provide us a link to it please? we still need to understand and see the issue to be able to be more helpful.
Best regards,
AndyApril 14, 2017 at 8:07 pm #778040I uploaded the clip to YouTube and will leave it there for a couple of days.
See it @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkXQKMlgfbg&feature=youtu.beIn the meanwhile, I made a textual change to the team members to prevent the issue from appearing on some computers. Apparently, it happens when the longest team member’s description in one slide of the slider is longer, in the number of lines, than that of the longest team member’s description of other slides (I hope this description makes sense). This means that the issue related to the responsiveness of the slide and the function that sets the height of the div avia-content-slider-inner.
April 17, 2017 at 11:06 am #778617Hi,
this issue does not happen for me. Can you check on another computer as well please? Which browser and OS are you using?
Best regards,
AndyApril 17, 2017 at 8:08 pm #778903I’m using Chrome on a PC running Windows 10 with a 1920px x 1080px screen.
Noticed the issue on other computers running a similar setting.April 18, 2017 at 3:32 pm #779378Hi,
