    Hello,
    I have uploaded via ftp the enfold and the enfold-child themes.
    Whenever I activate enfold-child or enfold, I get an Internal server error 500.

    The other default themes work fine .

    What seems to be the solution to this problem?

    Hey elephas,

    Can you give us admin access and ftp access? so we can test it and try to debug.
    Just post the login credentials in private content so it’s only visible to you and the moderators.

    Hi Victoria.
    php version: 5.3.29

    You have my credentials, why don’t you look for the server log?
    Anyway I don’t know which error_log (error_log, access_log, proxy_error_log) file you are referring to and what I should be looking for.

    Can you try to update your php version to 5.6 or 7.0?

    OK! I updated to php version 7.0 and that solved the problem.
