Tagged: internal server error 500
I was putting the final touches on a website for work ( http://gk.loket-oost-vlaanderen.be ), when all of a sudden I start getting the dreaded “internal server error” I can’t even access the admin. the only page working is the index, which is now completely without layout. All other pages lead to the internal server error. I already tried changing the .htaccess but that didn’t work. I’ve contacted my host as well, but they simply suggest starting anew (something I’m not keen on, since I’ve spent quite a few days building). Anyone have any idea if this error could be related to the enfold theme in some way? The last thing I did was adjust the logo in the header to point to another page than the index, but I tested that and it was working fine…
Help me Kriesi-wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope…
Hi webgk!
You cannot access the admin? Sounds like a bad server problem. Check your server error logs to see if there is any information about this error. Do they have automatic backups scheduled? I would try reloading a backup.
Best regards,
Elliott
Apparently the error was caused by linking the header logo to another page rather than to the index. it’s been reset, and is working just fine now.
phew!
