    Hi guys

    When using internal linking, selected with one of the theme’s dropdown menus, will it save the slug or the page-id?
    I would need to know what I could change so it does not brake the selected linking.

    Hi Victoria,

    we’re wondering about the ‘link settings’ enfold offers for multiple modules, specifically when the type ‘page’ is selected. A screenshot of a button module with the link settings in question is attached.

    How is enfold saving the references page? Is the page-id used to store this information and ensure that title and slug can be changed? Or does enfold save some other kind of information to identify the selected page?

    Hi,

    If you are selecting the links in dropdowns like your screenshot Enfold is using the unique id’s. So it is save to change title, slug and even the WP permalink structure.

    Only if you enter links “hardcoded” (e.g. when using setting manual) you have to take care of that yourself.

    PS. Also categories, taxonomy links are always safed by id’s.
