I want to upload a page and content from the new parallax demo. I updated the theme to the latest version. How can I do this without importing all of the demo content?

Please try to enable debug mode under Enfold->Layout Builder->Show Advanced Options. After that then you can paste these shortcodes in the shortcode window which will appear under the regular layout window:
