If you haven’t created a menu and assigned it to display as your main menu then all the pages your site will be listed, could you try creating your own menu please?
Best regards,
RikardAugust 14, 2017 at 3:29 pm #838693i tried assigning a menu so now the menu is better but the whole look of the site is not like your 2017 demo. whole look of the page doesn’t look like your 2017 demo and that is the one i installed.
August 15, 2017 at 5:09 am #839060Hi,
Yes I can see that too, could you try to import the demo again? Something might have gone wrong while importing. If you need to clear your installation before importing then you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/

Thanks for the feedback. Your site looks like the demo now, though without a slider like you pointed out. I tried logging in but the details are not working anymore, could you check and verify please?
About Layer Slider updates; since it’s bundled with the theme it will be updated when the theme is updated. The version included is not always the latest one, but that won’t affect any functionality of it.

Thanks for that, login details are working. I can see that you don’t have any LayerSliders at all on your installation, could you try importing one or create a new one maybe?
The default behaviour of the mobile menu is to open from the right. I can see that you have experimented a bit with it on the front page.

Are you using the layer slider? Please edit the layer then go to the “Styles” panel. Look for the “Layout | Sizing & Position” settings then specify the width and height of the image manually.

IsmaelAugust 21, 2017 at 3:50 pm #842062i put different posts and you only responded to the last one:
i tried importing a layer slider from the template store and it was just scrolling and scrolling. if you can do that it would be helpful. it is frustrating because you respond different time then i work and every time i have to wait a whole day for your response so if you can help me get this done faster that would be good.i just change some styles for the header. how can i get the mobile menu to pull out on the right – you do have an option to put the menu on the left so then it should automatically open on the left with that settings. if you need to you can remove my styles from the child theme style sheet for a few minutes to see it default on the left. that is the only thing i modified.
August 21, 2017 at 3:53 pm #842063next issue the home page is set to pull in the home page slider but it’s pulling in the other slider not the home page slider
August 21, 2017 at 3:55 pm #842066next issue – i had the width set for those images – did you have a look at my homepage slider. inspect element and see the width of the images and check my settings. please look into all my issues before responding since i am getting very frustrated that i wait a whole day for each response and not always is the response helpful. i appreciate your assistance.
August 23, 2017 at 6:21 pm #843207I’m still waiting for a response for my last posts. another issue – if you click on the nav and then gallery when you hover over the image then the name of what the image is displays on the image on top of it. it is not clear that it is that image. please advise.
August 24, 2017 at 11:52 am #843424Hi,
I’m sorry for the late response.
i tried importing a layer slider from the template store and it was just scrolling and scrolling.
1.) Where did you get the template? Did you try our suggestion?
Please edit the layer then go to the “Styles” panel. Look for the “Layout | Sizing & Position” settings then specify the width and height of the image manually.
2.) There is no option for that but you can add the following css code to change the transition of the menu.
.html_av-overlay-side .av-burger-overlay-scroll { width: 500px; -webkit-transform: translateX(-500px); transform: translateX(-500px); } .html_av-overlay-side .av-burger-overlay-scroll { left: 0; }
3.) I checked the home page slider but I can’t find any layers or images. It’s just the background. Please provide a screenshot of the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 24, 2017 at 3:39 pm #843546i feel like you are not fully looking into my problems.
the following are still pending:
1) if you click on the nav and then gallery when you hover over the image then the name of what the image is displays on the image on top of it. it is not clear that it is that image.
2) the /home page is calling the home page slider but it is showing a different slider instead (that is why you just see a background) please login and check and you will see the home page is calling the home page slider but it is showing a different slider
3) once you fix #2 then you will see the problem of the images on the home page slider – if you inspect element you will see it is stretching the image and not listening to my width
4) i tried clicking on layerslider, import sliders / templates / import and it didn’t work.
please respond asap and try to answer my issues to the fullest so i don’t have to wait again for another response.
thank you!August 26, 2017 at 5:18 am #844276Hi,
The “homepage slider” is now displaying in the page. We are not sure why the layer slider is not respecting the size and layout options but we we’re able to adjust it in the Quick CSS field.
.tenhills-box { width: 354px !important; height: 86px !important; }
Where did you get the template? We don’t provide any custom templates for the slider. It’s possible that the template was created from an old version of the layer slider and it’s no longer compatible.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 11, 2017 at 5:31 pm #850599i put this in the child theme:
.html_av-overlay-side .av-burger-overlay-scroll {
width: 500px;
-webkit-transform: translateX(-500px);
transform: translateX(-500px);
}
.html_av-overlay-side .av-burger-overlay-scroll {
left: 0;
}it doesn’t work. i even tried it with !important and it still didn’t work.
September 11, 2017 at 6:06 pm #850616btw:
.tenhills-box {
width: 354px !important;
height: 86px !important;
}
that code was just changing the size it showed not the size it’s actually pulling in. for now i just put it into the html field and it worked for the time being.
thanks.
awaiting your response regarding my comment before this.September 11, 2017 at 7:32 pm #850642i fixed the nav. why if i set a layer to a width and a height it is adding on extra width and height in addition to whatever padding we set.
September 12, 2017 at 8:24 am #850850Hi,
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing
Thank you for your understanding.
