Just purchased Enfold via Themeforest.
Have tried a few times but install keeps failing.
Tried installing the entire enfold.zip file as downloaded from Themeforest / file size 59.7MB – a massive file for a WP theme.
Tried & failed 3 times.
Thought perhaps I had to open the .zip and install a smaller file.
Opened enfold.zip and found smaller .zip file.
Attempted to install the enclosed enfold.zip file that was only 13.1MB
Again, tried & failed 3 times.Error message displayed on browser tab: “WordPress Failure Notice”
Error notice on screen: “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again”
When I select ‘please try again’ I am simply returned to the WP ‘Install new theme’ page.Using WP 3.8.1
Checked the enclosed .zip folder to ensure it had a “style.css” file just to be sure I was uploading the right .zip file
Have logged out of my WP, restarted my browser – CHROME, logged back in and tried again. Same error.
Not sure what my next option is.

Sounds like there is a hosting issue preventing the filesize from being uploaded or a timeout on the upload. Either way you can easily upload over FTP and install that way.

At the same time you can also install a child theme so that any future customization is properly set up on a child theme.

DevinThanks – yeah, file too big.
I found a great little tutorial that helped as I am a bit of a novice with the back end of file management. Searched youtube & I got an answer on how to upload a theme into my servers files and extract it. Uploaded. Extracted. Activated.
For reference, I use BlueHost as my server and the video I found was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxtiQOgNiIg
Super basic stuff (for most) but for someone like me it was perfect.
