    In a former tread from 2016 it says that Enfold is not built for WordPress.com. Now it is possible to download themes from Themeforest in WordPress.com with a Business plan. Will it work or do you not recommend it? My client wanted to use WordPress.com instead of self-hosting because of increased security and no need to update WordPress and do maintenance.

    Hey guttogjente,

    I know that we have customers who are running Enfold on wordpress.com hosting, so I don’t think you should have any problem with that. I’m not so sure about security though, how does wordpress.com differ from other hosting providers?

    If you want a very secure WordPress installation then I would recommend that you have a look at making it static and hosting it without a database.
