Hello there
I am investigating ways to limit my client’s site’s use of cookies that deliver user data to third parties. In the very interesting page on GDPR (https://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-4-4-and-the-gdpr-general-data-protection-regulation), it says that it’s possible to configure the Instagram widget in such a way that data is not sent unless the user interacts with the widget (presumably that means they click on an image). Is this the default set-up … or is further configuration required? … there are no setting options that mention privacy or cookies.
I was also wondering if it’s possible to bring in any other parts of the Instagram posts through this widget … such as the text messages.
Many thanks
Hey JaneJoyce,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
Basilis
