Hello.
I have a hard time setting up the contact form in both widget and on contact page.
The keyboard doesnr change on smartphones to number.I have used these shortcodes:
[av_contact (Email address hidden if logged out) ' title='Kontakt mig' button='Ja tak. Kontakt mig!' on_send='' sent='Tak for din henvendelse. Vi vil kontakte dig snarest.' link='manually,http://' subject='Kontakt mig.' autorespond='' captcha='' color='']
[av_contact_field label='Navn' type='text' options='' multi_select='' check='is_empty' width=''][/av_contact_field]
[av_contact_field label='E-Mail' type='email' options='' multi_select='' check='is_email' width=''][/av_contact_field]
[av_contact_field label='Telefon' type='tel' options='' check='is_phone' width=''][/av_contact_field]
[av_contact_field label='Website' type='textarea' options='' check='' width=''][/av_contact_field]
[/av_contact]When using input type “tel” the field disapears. When using the input type “number” nothing happens.
How do I get the form to change keyboard to numbers for phone numbers?
Thanks alot.

I checked your shortcode on my local installation and it worked fine. I also checked the contact form on your website, which is also working fine for me. No field is disappearing for me. Which device are you using? please check on another smartphone as well.
Enfold uses the standard WordPress contact form, which does not have the option to switch automatically to numbers for the phone field.Cheers!

Thanks for your reply.
I installed another contect form plugin and got that to work in the widget area. The form on the contact page is the one from the theme and I cannot get that one to work on my smartphones in the phone number field.
Best regards
JohnApril 4, 2015 at 6:44 pm #423486Hey!
as I already told you I checked your contact form, but can’t see any issue. Can you please provide us screenshots of what you see? Please try on another smartphone as well, to double check.
You can also try to deactivate all your plugins, to see if one is causing the issue, but as I already told you your website looks fine to me …Regards,
AndyApril 4, 2015 at 6:55 pm #423489Thanks again.
I did try with different phones. Same result.
As I said I have solved the problem in the widget area with a plugin – Contact Form 7 ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/ )I have now inserted the shortcode at the bottom of the contact page https://onlinesynlighed.dk/kontakt/ under the map.
I can only see two fields, and the phone number field and email field are missing.Regards

can you provide us admin access please? post login details here as private reply.
Try to edit the contact form and open the Email and Phone fields, click save and update your page. Then check again.
Regards,
