    the search-results page forwards you to a page or post but the searched item itself -? you have to look yourself for it.

    that little plugin here manages exactly this for you by highlighting those words in the content.

    Hi,

    That’s not available in the theme by default, so you need to use another plugin like the one suggested above. Once you visited the searched posts, the search keyword or the search parameter itself is already lost. The challenge is to find a way to preserve the value of that parameter once you redirect to the searched posts and then use it to highlight the related content.

    The plugin still works well – you only had to set a rule for the class that will wrap the searched terms.
    f.e.

    .hilite {
      background: #fff67a !important; 
       color: #000 !important; 
    }
