Hi,
I would like to show the current active page in bold in the Recent Posts widget. You can see an example of a page with a Recent Posts widget in the sidebar here: https://thechildrensballet.com/2018-19-season-wrap-up/. I would like the current page (the first item in the menu) to be displayed in bold.

Thank you for the update.
The default recent posts widget doesn’t assign class attributes to the posts list, so you won’t be able to change the style of menu related to the current post. You may need to install a third party plugin for this.
