Hi,
I’m using the very helpful plugin Zotpress for literature references. There is a problem with the so called “in-text reference” which doesn’t load as expected. There is a link from text to an endnote at the end of the page (with shortcode). Bibliography collections with no link from within the text are loaded properly at the end of the page.
This is what the plugin author answered:…a jQuery error. Zotpress can’t find the post to place the in-text citations into. Looking at the code generated by the theme, it looks like it’s not being split up into the traditional “posts” (which are even on pages) in WP, so it’s not compatible with Zotpress. Zotpress needs these containers with IDs so that it can place in-text citations where they need to go after they’re generated by the bibliography tag, particularly on pages where there’s multiple posts.
Would you have any suggestions how to solve it?

I’m sorry but we don’t provide support for third party plugins as stated on our support policy and we are not familiar with the plugin. Are there any further info regarding the issue? What do they mean by the following statement?
