When I log in to my site as admin, with email address and username confirmed by my web host, I don’t see the typical set of options down the left side. Instead I just see “Profile.”
My web host’s support rep was looking into tings for quite some time, eventually came
back and said this, in case it’s helpful:I was able to find a possible resolution for this, as accordign to wordpress <?php wp_footer(); ?> this code seems to be missing from the theme file.
however since this is a custom theme, i”m seeing that <div id=”fb-root”></div> is where the above code normal sits, And sicne I’m not familiar with the coding of themes, I’m not sure if this would be the cause or not.
So in this case, I would recommend reaching out to the theme developers to have them go over the coding of the theme to see what is causing this .
Any ideas or things to try?

Are you sure the user in question has admin rights?

RikardNovember 16, 2017 at 10:00 pm #877769Yes. This is the email address I’d remembered using as with primary admin,
and when I was on with HostGator support they confirmed that this is the
username and email address set as admin.November 17, 2017 at 2:50 pm #878080Hi JeeBar,
Obviously, this user does not have admin rights. The footer is there, it’s inside the wrap_all container. Do you have a database backup? Do you have access to php-my-admin? You could check user right in the database.

VictoriaNovember 17, 2017 at 7:40 pm #878273Thanks, that’s the validation I needed — I *knew* that was a bullcrap answer! They were supposedly checking php-my-admin and telling me that so I believed them, I should have access myself and will double-check,then (almost surely) call BS and get to work on the actual problem.
November 19, 2017 at 5:17 am #878704Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure if you are able to check yourself though? Also, was your hosting support supposed to check but you think that they didn’t do that? Let us know if you should need any further help from us.
