Tagged: pagination
In the Enfold demo and other sites I’ve built with Enfold, the pagination menu at the bottom of main blog and other pages features special buttons for previous/next and first/last.
Mine however, isn’t displaying them. Seems that the theme is “smart” and only shows them when it thinks I’ll want/need them, and I only have a few pages worth of posts now so it isn’t. I reduced number of posts per page which jacked up number of pages, and they appeared. Yay.
How can I make it so they appear now even though I only have three pages worth of posts?
Hey JeeBar,
Could you provide us with a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
Rikard

Hey,
Did you select to show Pagination in the options of the Blog Posts element? If you should have further problems then please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

Rikard
Pagination is turned on, and it’s working fine (ish) I just want the first/last and previous/next options ot appear now even though I only have enough posts to spawn a few pages. Client has agreed that it’s OK to leave it like this though, as it’ll effectively “start working” once we have more posts.
Hi!
That’s going to take a lot of time and code and would have to be considered custom work. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.
If it was me I would just leave it alone until you write some more posts or set the amount of posts to display per page to something small like 2 – 3 so it fills up the pages faster.

Elliott
Bingo. Agreed. We’ll let the smart generation be smart.
Please close the ticket.
