    Hi,

I recently migrated to a new server. Since I have done the migrate it is impossible for me to make the contact form work again.

I am using the plugin “WP SMTP” and PHP mail() function to send emails. When I test it, it’s working great but when I use the contact form it doesn’t work at all. I don’t receive any emails. I think something went wrong when I migrated wordpress to a new server but not sure what.

If there anyway to debug the contact form from Enfold? Any files to modify in wordpress or enfold theme?

I am trying to resolve this issue and any help would be very much appreciated!

    Hi Oby4455!

Could you please install a different form, for testing?
If you could install Contact Form 7 and do some tests if the emails go out from it, it would be great.

    Thank you

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Did you try out the suggestions listed here? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails/

    Yes…

It’s working with Contact Form 7 but not with the contact form from Enfold. When I try to change the email address in the contact form from enfold it keeps sending it to the old one when I check the log in the cPanel for my server.

There is definitively an issue with the Enfold theme and I don’t know how to fix it. What files is in charge of the email configuration in the theme? I really want to fix this issue.

    Hi,

Have you tried using a different email address like gmail? Are you on a shared hosting?

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/gmail-smtp/

For additional help, please contact your hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Yes I am on a shared hosting. I was able to resolve the issue. My domain is used by Google apps for the email and I had to create a sub-domain for the contact form/wordpress website to make it work.

Just don’t understand why before it was working because I always use the domain with Google apps. And the contact from 7 was also working but not the contact form from enfold theme… Very strange. There must be an explanation but can’t think of any.

    Thank you anyway

    Hi,

Great, glad you solved it and thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure what could have gone wrong, but I’ll leave the thread open in case someone else knows.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
