    Hello,
I am aware this problem was mentioned before, but in my case it’s a bit different so I hope it’s ok I am bringing it up again:

When I tried to install Enfold I got the “Are You Sure?” error,
So I installed it via FTP.
My next step was to import a demo,
but then it failed right away (and not after 20-40 seconds like the other problems reported)
    “Importing didnt work!
You might want to try reloading the page and then try again”

I tried activating the WordPress Importer- but got the same error…”Are you sure you want to do this?”,
    right away (after 0.2 seconds)

    What should I try next?

Thank you very much in advance,
    Elad.

    Hey VJLoops-GT,

Usually, this is caused by a memory problem, but to have sure about it, I’ll need that you provide to me your website link and the WP credentials.

    Best regards,
    John Torvik

No problem – thank you very much.

In case you mean a memory problem – what should I change exactly?

    Hello
    Did you find anything out?
    Thank you

    Hello again,

I haven’t heard from you in a few days.

The memory data for my servers is:
    max_execution_time (120 sec) and memory_limit (768 MB)
I think that should be enough – what are your thoughts?
    I really need your help,
    Elad.

    Hi,
I viewed your site and it looks like you have the Wedding Demo in place, are you still looking for help?
If so, which demo do you want? If we need to reset your site is that ok? (you will lose all work)
Can you please include FTP access in the private content area.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    hello
I had the server administrators inject the demo via SSH or something of sorts.
    with WP Cli or something.
It wasn’t very comfortable to do…any idea of why was that needed?

    Thanks in advance,
    Elad.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, glad you got it working. It’s likely due to the max execution time on the server, it simply times out since the demos can take a while to install.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    `The Max setting is max_execution_time —> 120 sec | and the memory limit – memory_limit (768 MB)
The error while importing the demo shows up right away (after 0.2 seconds or so)
    So it can’t be that.

    What else can it be?

    Thanks again,
    Elad.

    Hi,
If I understand correctly, your issue is now solved, shall we close this then?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Mike.

I install sub-websites on my main domain every week.
Sadly the issue isn’t done, because I would have to install at least 5 more websites.
Then, Like happened with this one, I had to ask special help from my servers team,
and they installed your demo with SSH which I have no idea how to do (and smth called WP Cli).

I want to be able to install the demo normally and without any extra help,
That’s why I need your kind help to figure out what is the problem preventing me from installing the demo.

(Also the theme itself I had to install via FTP)

In which cases you know the error of importing a demo shows up right away?
(and not after 1min or so)

    Thanks Again very much,
    Elad.

    Hi,
I understand, lets try to recreate the error, Could you create a test sub-domain, install WP, and try to install Enfold.
When it don’t work, please link to the enfold zip you are trying to install (Dropbox or Drive, etc) so we can try and test the error.
Can you also tell us who is your host and any other info, all in Private Content area.
I know this is a lot of effort and time for you, but being able to see and debug the error will help us solve it :)

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Mike,
Thank you for all your help.

I managed to figure out the problem myself I think.
I installed wordpress on my hosting (Siteground) as http://sitename..etc
    Instead of http://www.sitename..etc

    Which apparently caused this issue.

I hope it might help some other users in the future, since I would never imagine that might make a difference.

Thanks again for your time and effort, I wish you a wonderful day,
    Elad.
