    hello!

    I wanted to use the Shop Demo homepage as it is, but when I imported the Shop Demo – now I can no longer:

    • Change color schemes.
    • Can’t edit any product descriptions to add pictures – can’t upload any in text editor area. Can’t create another tab or change the review tab to hold an image.
    • I need a tab for nutritional facts along with the description and reviews – but want to hide the reviews right now..
    • Can’t do any advanced layout editor at all – not even in posts or pages.

    When I wanted to import the Shop Demo it said I had to upload the WooCommerce plugin.

    Somewhere I read if you wanted to do that – then you had to put this code somewhere for something about the Advance layout. I can’t find that instruction now to undo it.

    By any chance do you expect to make this thing easier to use in the future?

    The whole complicated way this theme works – it’s like the super old, old themes. I’m used to clicking on the element you want & putting where you want it, add photos or text & publish.

    This complicated short code stuff seems soooo ancient & can’t help but be afraid that the code could be bloated like crazy.

    I really like the way the shop demo looks though – so I’m trying hard to figure it out. Just really bummed out it’s so difficult.

    I did get referred to the short codes that the SHOP homepage uses & now that it’s imported I can see there is NO WAY I could figure out how to use all those freakin short codes.

    I’d like to hide the review tab for now, but I really need another tab for nutrition facts. Other themes I use it’s just an element that you select & add all the tabs you want.

    I paid for this so I want to use it – I just find it too hard for me at the moment :- (

    I was hoping to download the theme & have the images switched out, add a tab to the product page & have my site ready to go in a couple of hours – instead it’s turning into days. Days I do not have to spend on it.

    Really appreciate any help – I’m super depressed about it all at this point. You guys are very sweet to help.

    Looking again at your default demo – I really like your shortcodes look for tabs. So is there anyway I can just use the SHOP DEMO homepage without WooCommerce?

    I think the Woocommerce just adds monkey wrench that I don’t need.

    I like ya’lls portfolios, etc.

    Is this possible?

    Hi!

    That is not possible, as the CSS are working for that area.
    You can always try copy the CSS into the area you work, but that would also need some advanced coding, if you can do it.

    Basilis – thanks – I actually deactivated WooCommerce & the SHOP homepage is okay – just need to fill in the hole/blank space that taking the woocommerce products out left.

    Where is the tutorial on how to use your Advance layout tool thing?

    Also – when I added Woocommerce plugin, I followed an instruction that effected the Advanced layout tool thing & now it doesn’t work & I can’t find those instruction again. I can’t undo what it told me to do & now can’t add the Advanced layout into pages or post or anything. Do you know where that instruction is? It may have disappeared when I imported the SHOP DEMO.

    Can you use the shortcodes within that Advanced layout tool thing? I tried to figure out how to add my content in those spaces – but I couldn’t.

    This is a really old fashioned theme & very difficult for this non-coder girl.

    I deleted everything and started over so my function issues are better.

    I can’t figure out how to use your avia templates.

    So if I put in some columns – I don’t understand how to put any content in those sections.

    How in this world do you use the two together???

    Also why would I do a project over a post? Can’t you do galleries and portfolios with posts too?

    Hey!

    I’m not sure what you mean but the ALB should work like you want it to, just drag and drop the element you want to display. You fill content up with items from the Content or Media Elements tab. Not sure if I can give you much more help than that, maybe you can send us a screenshot of what you are having problem with?
