How do you export from a development environment to production without losing styling? When I use the Import Theme settings tool in the theme options page, MUCH of the styling is imported. BUT for some reason the color of the text in the body of the content is set to GREEN. ??
March 15, 2017 at 4:10 pm #761469Hi!
Are they set correctly in Enfold theme options? If they are, please click save to flush dynamic stylesheets
Cheers!
YigitMarch 15, 2017 at 4:24 pm #761481I did what you said and it worked however… This solution won’t work for me because the production environment is setup so that no changes can be made to the LIVE site. So, when I select SAVE ALL CHANGES, I get a security error.
Is there another way?
Where does this GREEN text even come from?
Thanks for your quick response – we are trying to launch the site today but this migration issue is keeping us from launching. Your help is greatly appreciated.
March 15, 2017 at 4:27 pm #761483Hey!
Can you please try going to wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia folder and replace enfold.css file on the new installation with the old one?
Regards,
YigitMarch 15, 2017 at 5:00 pm #761504We use a child theme. The file in the dynamic_avia folder is named enfold_child.css. I assume this is the file you are referring to.
We have a deployment script that copies all files and pushes them to the production server. But I do not have direct access to the directories on the production server to make that change.
Can some CSS be applied on the DEV to override this green color text when it is loaded to PRODUCTION?
March 15, 2017 at 7:40 pm #761575Ok – I just pushed all the site files over to the site (which included the wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold_child.css file) and this fixed the green text issue as you said it would. Thanks!
