    I’ve tried several time to import the construction dummy data. Each time I get the message
    “import didn’t work refresh the page and try again”
    which I did. then I get the message that image files already exist, so I remove all the media files that were imported
    (only 3) and try again, only to get the same “import didn’t work refresh the page and try again”

    Hey jms6566,

    Please try to import the media attachments with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/attachment-importer/

    You can find the WXR import file in enfold\includes\admin\demo_files\ (the file path is enfold\includes\admin\demo_files\construction.xml ).

    The first step in the instructions for the attachment importer says to import the construction.xml file using the wordpress importer plugin but DO NOT Select the option to download attachments. The result of following those instructions are the following errors.

    Import WordPress
    Media “logo-construction” already exists.
    Media “Architect handling keys to a couple” already exists.
    Media “Construction site machines” already exists.
    Failed to import Media “Cropped hand of a carpenter”
    Failed to import Media “Modern home”
    Failed to import Media “Scale Ruler on Blueprints”
    Failed to import Media “Superb backyard”
    Failed to import Media “Urban development”
    Failed to import Media “team-banner2”
    Failed to import Media “house-wire-model-fade-white”
    Failed to import Media “House interior”
    Failed to import Media “Modern kitchen”
    Failed to import Media “Mansion”
    Failed to import Media “team-office”
    Failed to import Media “marker3”
    Failed to import Media “dribbble”
    Failed to import Media “envato”
    Failed to import Media “microlancer”
    Failed to import Media “themeforest”
    Failed to import Media “wordpress”
    Failed to import Media “wpml”

    OR was I supposed to bypass that step and just use the attachment importer to import the constuction.xml file? Using and import plugin to import contant using ANOTHER import plugin seems very odd….

    Hi,

    You have to reset the database if the import fails and then try it again.

    Or try to import the demos manually

    If it doesn’t work, please provide the WP and FTP details in the private field so that we can upload the demo manually.
