    Hi,
    I recently installed the enfold theme and needed to import the restaurant one pager template.

    When I tried doing this it gave me a message saying “Importing didnt work!
    You might want to try reloading the page and then try again”

    When I looked on your forum it mentioned adding lines to wp-config.php increasng the memory to 256MB, I tried this but it didnt work. I also tried clearing my cached history.

    Could you please help me with this?

    Hey Theresa,

    Alternatively demo data can be imported using XML file from Admin > Tools > Import > WordPress
    Make sure to check the option “Download and import file attachments” while importing.

    Please note this will not import the theme settings you may need to set them up and upload if any images are missing from backend once the XML file is imported.

    Church Demo
    Construction Demo
    Cunsulting Demo
    Gym Demo

    Thanks for you quick response.

    I followed your instructions and it brought me to this :

    Import WordPress

    Upload your WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file and we’ll import the posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags into this site.

    Choose a WXR (.xml) file to upload, then click Upload file and import.

    Choose a file from your computer: (Maximum size: 20 MB)

    What am I importing? where do I download the files I need?

    Hi,

    Install the WordPress Importer plugin and download the xml file from the demo list above then import it in your installation. If it doesn’t work, reset the database then follow the instructions here. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/demo-content-not-uploading/#post-666468

    Hi Andy,

    This was the reason why I had opened up a ticket. When I go into the dashboard and into demos I can not download the restaurant one pager demo.

    I have been waiting for support and your responses for almost two weeks and have not resolved this issue yet.

    Again, I cannot download the demo from the imports and need to work on this website ASAP. Can you please tell me how I can import the restaurant one page demo into WordPress – Clicking on the demo link through the dashboard is NOT WORKING. I need a copy of the demo.

    Hi,

    we can’t provide you any copy, so let’s work on the issue that importing is not working for you.

    There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    Install Enfold over FTP

    Keep all plugins deactivated while testing.

    Are you using a shared hosting? please ask your host about it.

    I have the same problem with Medical demo.
    “Importing didnt work!” (the script returned the following message: avia frameworl “avia_logo already exists ……. etc…

    I have used wp reset.

    Can I have link to download Medical Demo?

    Hi,

    it’s not possible to download it manually, you need to import it within the theme.
    There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    If the issue persists, then please ask your host to increase php memory limit (to at least 256MB).
