Tagged: child themes, import demo
Hi team,
I am starting with Enfold and would like to learn from 2 of your nice demos.
I have already loaded my own pages (imported from a previous joomla web) and probably I will use “Default Demo” as a base of customization of my web.
Is it possible to create one child theme and import “Default Demo”, and to create another child theme and import there “Small Business Flat Demo”?
Or is this going to create a mess mixing data (entries, pages, menus,..) from the two demos?
Thanks!
Hi blanchrosa!
When you import a demo it is going to bring in all of the pages, images, posts, etc etc. The theme settings can be different for each child theme but the page and post content will be the same so no you cannot really do that.

Thanks Elliot,
I have realized that I put the question in the wrong forum. It should be put in Enfold, I guess.
So, if I want to explore both demos, one after the other, what would be the best?
In the child theme, I would import demo number one and explore it.
But then how can I reset the demo in order to import the second one?,
Is “Reset all options” the way to do it?
Thanks and regards
Rosa.
Hi!
The options will automatically be reset when you import a demo but the pages, widgets, and images from the previous demo will still be there because they are considered “content”. You can leave them alone or delete them if you wish.

Hi!
You can also use this plugin to reset a WordPress installation:

Thanks both for your help!
