Hi,
Can you please tell me if there is away i can apply my English setting design to all of the other languages.
I am using an Enfold Theme together with wpml language plug-in I want my theme setting to be implemented to all languages but when i check out other languages the design changes to the theme default setting.
I need my setting to be implemented to all languages.
Your help will be much appreciated
awaiting your response
Kind Regards
GalJuly 24, 2016 at 9:03 am #664293One easy way could be to goto Dashboard – Enfold (Child) and under import/export there is a button “export themesettings file”
export your english themesettings – change your language above on clicking to a different flag – goto “import themesettings file” and choose these “english” Themesettings.
You have to repeat the import for each LanguageBut on every Changing this has to be redone! So style first your english Version as long as possible and than do this procedure.
July 24, 2016 at 10:29 am #664301Thank you Guenni007,
I’ll give it a try once i’ll be done with the English setting.
But it still it seems kind of weird to me that this is the only method we can implement.
My specific site is only 5 languages for the time being but what if my site would have 15 or 20 languages.
That would be an hassle to deal with.
Is there any other method?July 24, 2016 at 3:20 pm #664381Hi,
I’m afraid there is any other way to do this automatically. Always make your changes to one of the child theme and import the same settings in others. If i come across any other method i will update this ticket :)
Best regards,

Ok, very disappointing.
Please post it here if there is other wayKind regards
GalOctober 4, 2017 at 9:26 am #860044I agree with this, it is very cumbersome.
Would be nice if there was a quick fix where you can set your theme in one lang while the Front End stays multi-lingual.
Thanks!
July 15, 2018 at 11:49 pm #985783Hi,
I have installed WPML on Enfold (English) theme. After activating it, my customized theme Enfold is not shown for other languages. Default Enfold themes are shown!July 17, 2018 at 4:16 am #986215Hi kabukcu,
Could you try to change the theme settings so that they are the same for all languages?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 12, 2019 at 7:15 pm #1156096Hi All,
I know this Post is a bit older, but the issue seems still there…
Do I really have to make Style modifications on every language page with WPML (Another Page with free Polylang gave me less hassle…) But my customer bought the lifetime Version of WPML :-(
Is it really necessary to import/export theme settings? Should the underlying CSS not be the same for all languages?@ Rikard: How do I “try to change the theme settings so that they are the same for all languages”…? Is this referring to Günnies Post?
Thanks
StefanNovember 14, 2019 at 2:58 pm #1156811Hi,
@beenee: Yes, export/import of the theme options is still the easiest way to apply the current settings to other languages. If you have css modifications and intend to use it across the site or for all languages, put the css code in the child theme’s style.css file instead of the Quick CSS field.

IsmaelNovember 14, 2019 at 5:13 pm #1156840Thanx Ismael,
I did exactly this, exporting theme settings from German (importing into English).
Would you have a hint why I get a 404 error when going to the English site?
best
