Hi support,
I’ve generated a Google maps api key for a website I’m working on. I’ve done this before and it worked just fine, but this time I cannot get it to work. I’ve tried to remove restrictions and deactivate plug-ins, but no luck. Can you please help?
Thanks!
Best regards,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for giving us admin access.

I’ve tried creating a new api key and it doesn’t work either – I get the message: Could not connect to Google Maps with this API key.
Have you any ideas how to troubleshoot this problem? Is it an error on Google’s end?
Best regards,
YthhjJune 7, 2018 at 9:23 am #968301Hi Ythhj,
I have checked it again and it works fine now.
I didn’t notice that there was an extra space after the api key which prevents it from working.
Let us know if you need further assistance.Best regards,
